Pembrokeshire Coast Holidays, Broad Haven, Self Catering

The detached lodge is situated in a beautiful hidden
valley; a unique place of natural environment nestling in south facing, landscaped grounds. It is set within 130 acres of the Pembrokeshire National Coast Park, and has won the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award. There is a well stocked lake in the grounds (coarse
fishing by arrangement). The 20 min walk to the safe, sandy beach of Broad Haven through Haroldston Woods is wonderful. The coast path is only ten minutes walk away from the lodge.
The coast line of St Bride’s Bay between St David’s and Marloes is surely some of the most spectacular in the country, and must not be missed.
Sitting on the lodge veranda is an ideal place to unwind and relax, and maybe see some wildlife.
Due to the unusual setting, this lodge is not suitable for wheelchair access.
Timber Hill has a laundry room with coin operated machines, as to maintain the integrity of the grounds, washing lines are not permitted There is a telephone box and tourist information. There is adequate parking close to the lodge. The nearest shops are in Broad Haven (5 min. by car) and there is a 24hr Tesco in Haverfordwest. There are some good restaurants in Broad Haven, Little Haven and Nolton Haven. Solva harbour is well worth a visit. The whole area is famous for its nesting birds in the Spring and seal pups in the autumn.
